Our Commitment

Design Your Path, Inc. (“Design Your Path” or “DYP”) is committed to making DYPI.org accessible and usable for as many people as possible, including people with disabilities.

Accessibility is consistent with our commitment to dignity, inclusion, equitable access, and meaningful participation. We believe visitors should be able to access information about our programs, resources, services, and opportunities regardless of ability or the technology they use.

Accessibility Standards

Design Your Path is working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.

As part of our ongoing accessibility efforts, we use available accessibility tools and conduct reviews intended to identify and address potential barriers. Our efforts include attention to:

  • Site language and page structure

  • Logical content and reading order

  • Clear heading structures

  • Alternative text for meaningful images

  • Color contrast and readability

  • Keyboard accessibility

  • Reduced or unnecessary motion

  • Accessible video, audio, and downloadable content where applicable

  • Clear links, buttons, forms, and navigation

Accessibility is an ongoing process. As DYPI.org evolves and new content or functionality is added, we intend to continue reviewing and improving the accessibility of the website.

Declaration of Partial Compliance With the Standard Due to Third-Party Content

Some pages or features on DYPI.org may include links, applications, embedded content, payment services, documents, or other technology provided by third parties.

Design Your Path does not control the accessibility practices of third-party providers. We nevertheless seek to use accessible services when reasonably possible.

If you encounter difficulty accessing third-party content through our website, please contact us. We will make reasonable efforts to assist you with accessing the information or identifying an alternative means of access when possible.

Physical Accessibility

Design Your Path currently provides services primarily through virtual and remote delivery.

As DYP develops and approves locations for in-person programming, accessibility considerations will be incorporated into our facility planning and readiness process. Information about accessibility arrangements at specific DYP locations will be provided as those locations become operational.

If you are participating in a DYP program and require an accommodation or alternative method of accessing a service, please contact us so that we can discuss your accessibility needs.
